DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 40,500 homes over the course of the week
Heavy fighting in the region causes constant power outages in towns and villages of the Donetsk region. Despite the danger, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to the residents of 17 settlements over the past week, thus restoring access to electricity for 40,579 families.
Including the weekend, when energy workers managed to restore power to 25,200 homes in the frontline region.
The Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure by constant shelling continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
