DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 65 settlements over the course of a week

From May 6 to 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 65 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for more than 30,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power to a total of more than 7.5 mln families* in the Donetsk region.
DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 65 settlements over the course of a week

Despite heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 65 settlements over the course of a week, thus restoring access to electricity for 30,303 families in the Donetsk region.

Including the weekend, when energy workers restored electricity to 4,300 families in two settlements, de-energized due to shelling.

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. According to Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the fiercest fights are being fought on the Pokrovsk direction. In particular, thirty clashes were registered there yesterday alone.

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
