DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 6,500 homes over the course of a week

From December 2 to 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 23 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 6,500 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite heavy fighting in the region and constant shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 23 settlements over the course of the week, thus restoring access to electricity for 6,537 families in the Donetsk region.  

Including the weekend, when energy workers restored power to 1,700 families in 3 settlements, de-energized due to enemy shelling. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure due to constant shelling continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
