DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 7,300 homes over the course of the week
The situation in the Donetsk region is becoming more difficult. Due to constant shelling, drone and air strikes, it becomes harder and more dangerous for the energy workers to repair grids and equipment damaged by shelling in order to restore electricity in the frontline region. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work wherever it is possible. In particular, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to the residents of 24 settlements over the past week, thus restoring access to electricity for 7,307 families.
Including the weekend, when energy workers managed to restore power to 1,300 homes in 3 settlements.
The Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure by constant shelling continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
