DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 95,000 homes over the course of the week

From May 19 to 25, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 44 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for almost 95,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite heavy fighting in the region and constant shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 44 settlements over the past week, thus restoring access to electricity for 94,978 families in the Donetsk region.  

In particular, over the weekend alone, energy workers managed to restore power to 4,300 homes in the frontline region. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

Work in the Donetsk region becomes more and more dangerous. Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,188 days and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible.
