DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 16,000 homes in the Donetsk region over the course of a week

From June 3 to 9, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 18 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for more than 16,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 18 settlements over the course of a week, thus restoring access to electricity for 16,210 families in the Donetsk region.

Including the weekend, when energy workers restored electricity to 4,100 families in nine settlements, de-energized due to shelling.

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
