DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 192,000 homes over the course of a week

Despite the ongoing heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 57 settlements last week, thus restoring power to 192,495 homes in the Donetsk region.
Energy workers had to carry out most of the restorations over the weekend, when yet another enemy shelling caused de-energization of 38 settlements in north of the region. In particular, the towns of Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka. Despite the difficult security situation, energy workers managed to restore electricity to more than 167,000 homes in 7 hours. Over the weekend overall, they managed to restore power to 171,500 homes of local residents, affected by the consequences of constant shelling of the region.
Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Enemy attacks and shelling are constantly ongoing. Damage of the energy infrastructure continues too. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
