DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 58,000 homes over the course of the week

From July 7 to 13, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring electricity to 32 settlements in the Donetsk region. Access to power supply has been restored for more than 58,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite the ongoing heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 32 settlements last week, thus restoring power to 58,133 homes of residents of the frontline region. 

In particular, over the weekend alone, energy workers restored power supply to the residents of 19 settlements, affected by shelling. And that’s 9,000 homes. 

The Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Enemy attacks and shelling are constant. Damage of the energy infrastructure continues as well. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,238 days and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible.
