DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to residents of 21 settlements over the course of the week

From July 21 to 27, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring electricity to 21 settlements in the frontline region. Access to power supply has been restored for almost 69,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite heavy fighting in the region and constant danger, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 21 settlements last week, thus restoring power to 68,868 homes of the Donetsk region residents. 

In particular, over the weekend alone, energy workers restored power to the residents of 14 settlements, affected by shelling. And that’s 36,000 homes. 

The Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Enemy attacks and shelling are constant. Damage of the energy infrastructure continues as well. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,251 days and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible.
