Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 45 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 65,999 families in the frontline Donetsk region.

Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to 27,000 families in 2 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to intensification of hostilities. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 18 times over the course of the day.

Due to constant shelling, specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
