DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 28,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region over the course of a week

From September 11 to 17, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of grids repairs, thus restoring electricity to homes of residents of 54 settlements. Power supply has been restored to more than 28,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 54 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 28,134 families in the frontline Donetsk region. 

Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to more than 2,000 families in 11 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling. 

According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of the Donetsk region continues. In particular, Vuhledar community alone was shelled 17 times yesterday. 

Due to constant damage of grids by shelling 117 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
