DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 45,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region over the course of a week
From October 2 to 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 78 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 45,701 families in the frontline Donetsk region.
Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to 19,800 families in 33 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling.
According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of the Donetsk region continues. Due to constant damage of grids by shelling, 124 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 595 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
