Despite constant shelling, air and missile strikes, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 120 settlements over the course of the week, thus restoring electricity to homes of 75,228 families in the frontline Donetsk region.

Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to 12,800 families in 32 settlements, de-energized due to hostilities.

Active hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. Shelling continues. In particular, according to the General Staff, more than 20 attacks of invaders from various directions have been repelled in the Donetsk region over the course of the day.

The ongoing shelling constantly damages grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company, in their turn, do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Lest us remind that DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 3 mln families in 2023. While since the beginning of a full-scale invasion, energy workers restored power supply to a total of 6.7 mln families.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 684 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
