DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to 64,000 families over the course of the week

From April 1 to 7, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 86 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 64,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power to a total of more than 7.3 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Over the week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 86 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 64,043 families in the Donetsk region. 

Including the weekend when energy workers restored electricity to more than 20,000 families in 47 settlements. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of active hostilities. Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
