DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to more than 36,000 families over the course of the week

From March 11 to 17, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 36 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for over 36,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power to a total of more than 7.2 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Over the week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 36 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 36,572 families in the Donetsk region. 

Including Sunday when energy workers restored electricity to more than 2,000 families in 4 settlements. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of active hostilities. According to the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the enemy keeps attacking Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
