Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages, among other things. The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily from the occupied territories.

Last week, russian forces launched several combat drone attacks on power facilities of DTEK Dnipro Grids. Energy workers were not hurt. The enemy also attacked with missiles and heavy artillery.

Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews began eliminating consequences of new enemy attacks. From December 23 to 29, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored electricity to 13,990 families, de-energized due to shelling.

Energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence works immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Power supply in the affected districts is now fully restored.
