DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity after shelling to 18,000 homes over the course of the week

From May 19 to 25, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to 18,000 families, left without power supply due to russian attacks. Energy workers promptly repair damaged lines and equipment once they obtain permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian strikes that cause power outages in the settlements. Last week, specialists of the company restored power to 17,808 homes, left without electricity due to the shelling. 

“Despite the threat, we continue to provide residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region with electricity. Yesterday alone, our specialists restored power after enemy attacks to 2,800 families in the region. Some homes in the most shelled districts had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk. 

Emergency crews repair damaged lines and equipment, doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are carried out immediately after obtaining permission from SES and AFU.
