Over the course of a week, DTEK energy workers restored power supply after shelling to almost 16,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region

From August 19 to 25, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to 16,000 families in 19 settlements that were left without power supply due to russian attacks. Energy workers repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages, in particular.  

Over the past week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 15,892 families in 19 shelled settlements.  

The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily with drones and artillery from the occupied territories. 

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. The works are commenced immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. 

Power supply in the affected districts is now fully restored.
