DTEK energy workers restored power supply after shelling to almost 6,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of a week

From February 3 to 9, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to almost 6,000 families, left without power supply due to russian attacks. Energy workers repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages, among other things. The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily from the occupied territories.

Energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage after new enemy attacks as soon as possible. They commence works immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Over the past week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored electricity to 5,815 families, de-energized due to hostilities. Over the weekend alone, they restored power supply to almost 3,000 homes in the region.
