DTEK energy workers restored power supply after shelling to 29,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of a week

From November 11 to 17, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to almost 29,000 families, left without power supply due to russian attacks. Energy workers repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages, among other things. The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily from the occupied territories. 

Last week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 29,231 families, de-energized due to enemy shelling. 

Including partial restoration of electricity after massive enemy attack on the power facilities that took place on November 17. Workers of power facilities were not injured. Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews commenced restoration of power supply. Providing no new attacks, power supply is to be completely restored by the end of the day. 

Energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence works immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
