DTEK energy workers restored power supply after shelling to more than 100,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of a week
Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages, among other things. The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily from the occupied territories. Last Friday, a crew of energy workers came under artillery shelling there when working on the overhead lines.
Last week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 100,704 families, de-energized due to enemy shelling. Last weekend alone, electricity has been restored to 34,791 homes.
Energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence works immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
