DTEK energy workers restored power supply after shelling to more than 73,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of a week

From September 30 to October 6, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to more than 73,000 families, left without power supply due to russian attacks. Energy workers repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages, in particular. The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily from the occupied territories. 

Last week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 73,108 families, de-energized due to enemy shelling. Yesterday alone, electricity has been restored to more than 11,000 homes. 

Energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence works immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
