DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to more than 137,000 homes in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kyiv regions over the course of the week
From June 9 to 15, energy workers in the Dnipropetrovsk region were able to restore power supply to 68,300 homes. The enemy attacks Dnipropetrovsk region more and more often, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.
Last week, specialists in the Donetsk region, where heavy fighting is still ongoing, managed to restore electricity to homes of 67,000 families of local residents. Despite constant danger, our energy workers continue to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible.
Kyiv region also continues to suffer from enemy attacks. Here, specialists of the energy company were able to restore electricity to 1,900 homes last week.
“The enemy does not stop attacking peaceful towns and villages of our country. Despite constant danger, energy workers continue to work and restore electricity for 1,209 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 19.4 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.
Energy workers of DTEK Grids are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
