Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Our specialists continue to work on restoration of grids and equipment once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. Last week, they managed to restore electricity to homes of 21,600 families in the frontline region.

Dnipropetrovsk region constantly suffers from consequences of enemy shelling too, especially the southern part of the region, where our specialists also managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to 6,200 families on May 20 through 26.

“For 824 days now, energy workers have been holding the energy front and providing Ukrainians with electricity in the conditions of increased risks. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 12.4 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
