DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to almost 440,000 homes in four regions over the course of the week

For the fourth week in a row, the majority of restorations take place in the Donetsk region due to non-stop hostilities in the region. Last week, specialists managed to carry out a number of repairs and restore electricity to 253,600* homes here. Despite an extremely difficult situation, energy workers continue to work and repair grids and equipment.

Over the same time, specialists in the Dnipropetrovsk region were able to restore power to 70,200 homes. The enemy continues to attack Dnipropetrovsk region, regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

From July 13 to 19, energy workers in the Odesa region, which energy system continues to be targeted by the enemy, managed to restore electricity to homes of 115,300 families of local residents.

During the same period, energy workers in the Kyiv region managed to restore power to almost 500 homes that were also de-energized by enemy attacks.

“The enemy continues to attack peaceful towns and villages. The energy system is under constant attacks, as well. Nevertheless, we continue to work and restore electricity supply. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 48 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
