From January 19 to 25, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators (DSO) were able to completely or partially restore power to residents of 373 settlements, de-energized by the strikes, thus restoring electricity to the homes of more than 1.2 mln families in the capital and in four regions of company’s presence. Specialists of the DTEK Grids DSO repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

The enemy continues to terrorize the capital with the strikes. Energy workers continue to fight for light for the Kyivans. Despite the difficult situation, they managed to restore power to homes of 645,300 residents of the capital last week.

Odesa region was also attacked almost daily last week. This affected the energy infrastructure and left the residents without electricity. From January 19 to 25, specialists of the energy company were able to restore electricity to 253,300 homes of local residents.

Similarly, specialists in the Dnipropetrovsk region restored power to almost 120,000 homes over the past seven days. The enemy is constantly attacking Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

At the same time, despite an extremely difficult security situation, energy workers managed to carry out a number of repairs in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 104,400 families of local residents.

Over the past week, energy workers in the Kyiv region restored electricity to 86,600 homes that were de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“The enemy does not stop attacking Ukraine and destroying peaceful towns and villages. Despite all security challenges and severe frost, energy workers continue to work and restore electricity for as long as 1,433 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 37.4 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity to some settlements close to the area of hostilities on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
