The majority – in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where specialists were able to restore power to 111,400 homes over the past week. The enemy is constantly attacking Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

Meanwhile, despite an extremely difficult situation in the Donetsk region, caused by continuous fighting, energy workers managed to carry out a number of repairs and restore electricity to 54,300* homes. Restoring power supply in the region becomes increasingly difficult and dangerous. Nevertheless, specialists of the energy company continue working in the region.

Energy workers in the Odesa region, which energy system the enemy does not stop targeting, managed to restore electricity to homes of 4,300 families of local residents last week.

Besides, during the same period, energy workers in the Kyiv region managed to restore power to 1,500 homes that were also de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“The enemy continues to attack our energy system. Despite large-scale destruction, security challenges and fatigue, we continue to work and restore electricity for as long as 1,503 days. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 42.1 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the area of hostilities on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
