The majority – in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where specialists were able to restore power to 190,000 homes last week. The enemy continues attacking Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity

Meanwhile, despite an extremely difficult situation in the Donetsk region, caused by continuous fighting on its territory, energy workers managed to carry out a number of repairs and restore electricity to 33,300* homes. Restoring power supply here becomes increasingly difficult and dangerous. Nevertheless, specialists of the energy company continue to work in the region.

The enemy does not stop targeting the energy system of the Odesa region, where specialists managed to restore electricity to homes of 12,800 families of local residents last week.

Besides, during the same period, energy workers in the Kyiv region managed to restore power to more than a thousand homes that were also de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“The enemy continues to attack our energy system. Despite large-scale destruction, security challenges and fatigue, we continue to work and restore electricity supply. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 43.3 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
