DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to more than 280,000 homes in four regions over the course of the week

From July 6 to 12, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators (DSO) were able to completely or partially restore power to the residents of 443 settlements, de-energized due to enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to more than 280,000 families* in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv and Odesa regions. Specialists of DTEK Grids DSO repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from AFU and SES.

The majority – in the Donetsk region, where energy workers continue to repair grids and equipment, despite an extremely difficult situation. Last week, they managed to carry out a number of repairs and restore electricity to 142,600* homes here.

From July 6 to 12, specialists in the Dnipropetrovsk region were able to restore power to 118,000 homes. The enemy continues to attack Dnipropetrovsk region, regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

During the same period, energy workers in the Kyiv region managed to restore power to more than 19,300 homes that were also de-energized due to enemy attacks.

Additionally, the enemy does not stop targeting the energy system of the Odesa region, where energy workers managed to restore electricity to 2,100 families of local residents last week.

“The enemy continues to attack our energy system. Nevertheless, we continue to work and restore electricity supply for as long as 1,601 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 47.6 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
