From January 12 to 18, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators (DSO) were able to completely or partially restore power to 559 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 675,000 families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

The majority of restorations were in the Kyiv region, which the enemy does not stop to actively attack. Last week, specialists managed to restore electricity to 363,200 homes of local residents, de-energized due to the enemy strikes.

Next in number of recoveries is Dnipropetrovsk region, which the enemy constantly attacks, as well. From January 12 to 18, energy workers managed to restore power to almost 192,000 homes here.

Russians continue their methodical attacks on the Odesa region too. Electricity has been restored to 61,300 families there.

Energy workers in the Donetsk region are working despite an extremely difficult situation due to the active fighting. Over the past seven days, energy workers here managed to restore power to 59,200* homes.

“Despite an extremely difficult situation in the energy system and constant enemy attacks, our specialists put incredible efforts to continue maintaining its operation, while working day and night once it becomes possible. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 36.2 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity to some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
