From November 10 to 16, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators (DSO) were able to completely or partially restore power to 727 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 800,000* families in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Kyiv regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

The majority of restorations were in the Donetsk region, where the situation remains extremely difficult due to the active fighting. From November 10 to 16, despite constant danger, our energy workers managed to restore power to 623,300* homes here.

The Dnipropetrovsk region also continues to suffer from both enemy attacks and the proximity of the frontline. Last week, energy workers here managed to restore electricity to 89,600 homes of local residents, de-energized by shelling.

The enemy does not stop attacking the Odesa region too: over the week, energy workers here restored electricity to 86,900 families, whose homes were de-energized by enemy attacks.

Specialists of the energy company in the Kyiv region, in their turn, were able to restore power to 4,000 homes over the same period.

“Despite continuous attacks on the energy infrastructure and constant security challenges, energy workers continue to repair power facilities, damaged by the enemy, for as long as 1,363 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 26.3 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity to some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
