The majority – in the Odesa region, which energy system the enemy does not stop targeting. From April 13 to 19, energy workers here managed to restore electricity to homes of 205,200 families of local residents.

Meanwhile, despite an extremely difficult situation in the Donetsk region, caused by continuous fighting, energy workers managed to carry out a number of repairs and restore electricity to 202,200* homes. Restoring power supply in the region becomes increasingly difficult and dangerous. Nevertheless, specialists of the energy company continue to work.

Over the same period of time, specialists in the Dnipropetrovsk region were able to restore power to 130,700 homes. The enemy is constantly attacking Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

Besides, during the same period, energy workers in the Kyiv region managed to restore power to a thousand homes that were also de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“The enemy continues to attack our energy system. Despite large-scale destruction, security challenges and fatigue, we continue to work and restore electricity for as long as 1,517 days. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 43.1 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the area of hostilities on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids DSO energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
