DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to homes of more than 25,000 families over the course of three days
Over the course of three days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 28 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 25,588 families in the frontline Donetsk region that constantly suffers from shelling.
According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, there is a daily escalation throughout the frontline, along the three main directions – Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka. Shelling of the region became more intense and it does not stop neither during the day nor during the night.
Due to hostilities, 124 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 353 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
