DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 1,800 homes yesterday

On August 19, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews continued to work on repairs of grids after shelling and restored power to 1 settlement, thus restoring electricity to 1,800 homes of residents of the Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the frontline region.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to one settlement, thus restoring electricity to 1,865 homes of residents of the frontline Donetsk region. 

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the National Police, 2,700 cases of shelling were registered in the Donetsk region yesterday both along the frontline and on the residential area. 

Shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing and continues to destroy grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 909 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
