DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to residents of 4 settlements yesterday

On July 17, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, carried out repairs of a number of grids damages, caused by shelling, thus restoring power to 4 settlements. Electricity has been restored to homes of 5,500 families of residents of the Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 4 settlements, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,524 families.

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 25 times yesterday.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 876 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
