DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 6,000 families yesterday

On July 15, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore electricity to 7 settlements, de-energized due to constant hostilities in the region, thus restoring power to homes of 6,000 families. Energy workers continue to repair the grids, despite all challenges and constant danger.

The enemy continues to attack the Donetsk region with artillery, drones, missiles and air bombs, destroying power facilities and power lines. Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 7 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 6,009 residents of the frontline region. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 10 times yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 874 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
