Yesterday and today, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 180,000 families after shelling

The enemy does not stop shelling the Donetsk region and its power facilities. Recent enemy attack last night caused de-energization in the northern part of the region, the towns of Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk in particular. Energy workers went to repair the lines once the shelling stopped and the military granted permission for repairs. They worked as fast as possible. Despite all security challenges, energy workers managed to restore operation of damaged power facilities in 7 hours, thus restoring electricity to 38 settlements and homes of 167,000 families of local residents.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored electricity to three more settlements and homes of 13,000 families yesterday.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. The enemy continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, including the energy infrastructure. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 8 times yesterday.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow.
