For bringing the light back: 10 energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO were awarded state honors
“Every day, our employees work, risking their own lives, and restore electricity to the homes of millions of people as soon as possible every time. They eliminate consequences of the strikes in Kyiv and Kyiv region in a matter of hours, work in the crosshair of enemy drones in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions on a daily basis. We are proud of each and every one of them and grateful for their courage and dedication to the cause. Thanks to our energy workers, we are sure that the future is bright,” — noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

The honors were awarded to three employees of DTEK Dnipro Grids: an honorary certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine — to Oleksandr Kostenko, head of the Central division of the high voltage grids operation department, and Oleksii Ivanyshko, a substation electrician. A valuable gift from the Prime Minister of Ukraine was awarded to Oleksandr Serhiienko, foreman of the Pokrovsk crew of the distribution grids repair and operation center.

Three energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids also received the honors. Serhii Kozarenko, head of the operating and dispatching center in Bila Tserkva, — an honorary certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Oleksii Kosheliuk, distribution grids operation electrician, — a Letter of Gratitude from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and Andrii Karpuk, foreman of the overhead lines repair and operation crew, — a Letter of Gratitude from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

Energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Grids were also recognized: Oleksii Panasenko, distribution grids operation electrician, — with a valuable gift from the Prime Minister of Ukraine; Viktor Prokopchuk, head of the division, — with a Certificate of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine; Andrii Ulitin, head of the division, — with a Letter of Gratitude from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

These state honors are another proof of the energy workers’ critical role in ensuring reliable operation of the Ukrainian critical infrastructure in the conditions of wartime. DTEK Grids DSO continue to do everything possible to maintain stable power supply and safety of its employees.
