Over the weekend, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 18,000 families, de-energized due to bad weather

Hurricane wind in the Donetsk region caused a number of damages: fallen trees, damaged power lines and equipment. Over the course of the weekend, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to more than 30 settlements, de-energized due to weather conditions, thus restoring electricity to more than 18,000 families. Energy workers also continued to work on restoration of the grids, affected by active hostilities in the region.

Over the weekend, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists repaired a number of grids damages, caused by hurricane wind and fallen trees, and restored power to more than 30 settlements. Electricity has been restored to homes of more than 18,000 families.  

Pokrovsk district was the most affected by bad weather. Selydove and Kryvorizhzhia communities, in particular. Fallen trees and constant shelling of the region complicated the work. Damages were also registered in other districts of the region. 

About 30 crews worked daily on restoration of the grids after bad weather on Saturday and Sunday.
