“For ensuring integrity of the energy system”: over 60 energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids received honorary awards
For their work in dangerous conditions of war, ensuring integrity of the energy system and commitment to their profession, 63 energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids received state awards, industrial awards and awards from the local authorities.
- By the Decree of the President of Ukraine Roman Stamat, head of the high-voltage grids operation department, was awarded an honorary title “Honored Energy Worker of Ukraine”;
- By the Decree of the President of Ukraine Yurii Huzema, head of the Odesa power distribution zone, was awarded a medal “For work and victory”;
- Serhii Pidhornyi, lead engineer of the Podilsk power distribution zone at the distribution grids repair and operation center, was awarded a breast badge “Standout of energy industry of Ukraine”.
- Honorary Certificates of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine were awarded to Dmytro Bierkov, dispatcher of the high-voltage grids uniform dispatch center, Yurii Okorokov, electrician for the repair of equipment, relay protection and automation, Vadym Ursul, electrical fitter for the repair of hardware of the distribution devices.
- Honorary Certificates of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine were awarded to Ihor Slatvynskyi, foreman of the Podilsk power distribution zone at the distribution grids repair and operation center, and Andrii Strasievych, field crew electrician at the distribution grids uniform dispatch center.
- 32 energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids received honorary certificates and acknowledgements from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, 23 energy workers – from local authorities.
“In just under three years of war, our men restored electricity to homes of more than 1.5 million families in the Odesa region*. To ensure victory of light over darkness, we helped restore electricity in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv, and on multiple occasions ─ in Donetsk and Kherson regions. Our energy workers are ready to keep holding the energy front for the sake of light and heat in the in the homes of Ukrainians and for the sake of Victory,” – noted Dmytro Hryhoriev, CEO at DTEK Odesa Grids.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, almost 600 energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids have received honorary awards.
*providing that some settlements had electricity restored to them on 2 or more occasions after enemy attacks
