DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to more than 26,000 families over the course of the day

On April 19, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repaired damages of the grids after enemy shelling and missile attacks and restored power to 3 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 26,000 families. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to be subjected to enemy shelling and missile attacks that regularly damage grids and leave residents of the region without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

Over the course of the day, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of the grids for 26,485 families, whose homes were de-energized due to enemy shelling.  

Energy workers are still working on restoration of electricity to 1,087 homes of local residents and make every effort to complete repairs as soon as possible.
