DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to almost 27,000 households over the course of the day
Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 11 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 26,772 households.
Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Shelling of the region, missile and air strikes continue. In particular, according to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, Kurakhove community was shelled 7 times yesterday, while Avdiivka was shelled from a wide range of weapons. The enemy has also launched an air attack on Toretsk. Other settlements were shelled as well, including the ones that are relatively distant from the frontline.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 113 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
