DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to 26,000 families over the course of two days
Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 56 settlements, thus restoring power to 26,021 families in the frontline region.
Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, shelling of the Donetsk region continues. In particular, Kurakhove community alone was shelled seven times yesterday.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 114 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
