Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to almost 8,000 homes in the region

On September 23, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to 6 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 8,000 families. Energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly restore power once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

On September 23, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to repair a number of grids damages and completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 6 settlements in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts, thus restoring electricity to 7,812 families of the region.

In particular, electricity has been restored to more than 6,000 families in Bakhmut community. Additionally, repairs were carried out for more than 1,000 buildings in Toretsk community. Besides, energy workers were also restoring operation of the grid in Marinka and Sloviansk communities.

Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. The situation in the region remains extremely difficult. Shelling damages power lines and leaves residents without electricity every day. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and Marinka.

85 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
