On September 2, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore power to 13 settlements. Massive shelling continues to destroy energy infrastructure of the region. Nevertheless, energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible. Thus, yesterday specialists of the energy company have restored power to more than 1,800 households in Sloviansk community, 1,000 households in Bakhmut community, 1,500 households in Marinka community and 1,400 households in Toretsk community. This is the majority of restorations, conducted yesterday. Additionally, energy workers were able to perform repairs in Avdiivka and Velyka Novosilka communities.

The situation in the region remains extremely difficult. Last night, russians launched missile strikes on Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, and shelled the entire front line from Kurakhove community to Zvanivka community, as reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.

As of September 3, 89 settlements remain without electricity, as energy workers do not have a permit for work performance from the military and are unable to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 192 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
