Electricity restored to homes of 1,300 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs of grids after shelling
Hostilities do not subside in the Donetsk region. Attacks on peaceful towns and villages of the region continue, including attacks on the energy infrastructure. Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to conduct a number of repairs of grids and energy equipment, damaged by constant shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,315 families.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 20 times yesterday.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 875 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
