Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to 36 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to more than 33,000 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

The enemy continues to attack peaceful towns in the Donetsk region, destroying energy infrastructure of the region, in particular. Despite all challenges, energy workers continue to repair grids and equipment, damaged by shelling. Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore power to 36 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 33,400 residents of the frontline Donetsk region.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to constant enemy shelling, missile and air strikes. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 32 times yesterday.

Constant shelling, missile and air strikes continue to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
