Electricity restored to 1,100 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs of the grids after shelling
On June 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to restore electricity to 3 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,133 families.
Donetsk region still remains an area of the most active hostilities. Enemy shelling continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing the energy infrastructure of the region.
Because of the constant enemy shelling, specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 834 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
