Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to access a number of grid damages and repair it, thus completely or partially restoring power to 65 settlements, de-energized by the enemy. Power supply has been restored to homes of 12,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On August 28, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to residents of 65 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 12,013 families.

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 13 times yesterday.

Constant shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 918 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
