Electricity restored to 1,300 families in the Donetsk region: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to repair the grids

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore electricity to 2 settlements, affected by hostilities, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,300 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to access a number of grids damages, repair it and restore power to 2 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 1,292 families. 

Hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the Donetsk region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 16 times over the course of the day. In particular, Myrnohrad was hit by three missile strikes. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
